2nd Heavy Artillery (112th Regiment), State Color. The 2nd Heavy Artillery regiment was composed during the fall and winter 1861-62. Composed of men from all over Pennsylvania, this regiment was the largest Federal regiment during the Civil War, exceeding 5000 men. They received the state color in April 1862. The regiment was mustered out of service on January 29, 1866.

2nd Heavy Artillery (112th Regiment), Regimental Color. The 2nd Heavy Artillery regiment was composed during the fall and winter 1861-62. Composed of men from all over Pennsylvania, this regiment was the largest Federal regiment during the Civil War, exceeding 5000 men. Evidence suggests the regiment received the regimental color before receiving the state color in April 1862, and was carried throughout the war. The regiment was mustered out of service on January 29, 1866.

2nd Heavy Artillery (112th Regiment), State Standard. The 2nd Heavy Artillery regiment was composed during the fall and winter 1861-62. Composed of men from all over Pennsylvania, this regiment was the largest Federal regiment during the Civil War, exceeding 5000 men. The state standard was sent to Harrisburg in May 1865, however, it is not known if the regiment actually received the flag. The regiment was mustered out of service on January 29, 1866.
